Genesis 10:19
19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
I remember the day I read that scripture my dad was with me and we was still in Redwood City, and i was i think between age 6-8 and my dad was havin me read this section of Genesis... when I came to my name I looked at my dad said hey thas my name, and he said yes thats where your mom and I got it from...so back in the days Lasha was place where there were springs (hotsprings) gave me my mothers middle name June... And my dad said your name Lasha June to mean Spring/Summer song.... lets see if my dad can remember back that far Ill never for get that day ...and if memory does serve me correctly we was sitting in Matilda Yarboroughs... ( think thas the correct name not sure on spelling) office she was I believe the churches secretary at time and my mother as well i think was secretary.. wow talk about memory lane ey... :)

I LOVE your name. Summer is my FAVORITE time of year and I NEVER get enough of it. LOLEspecially with the long winters we've had the past few years. :-) Spring would probably be second to summer for me.

- I was gonna be joesiah if boy ... wow so u and mom and no clue what was gonna have .... well thanks for the wonderful name poppy :) still today I get compliments on how beautiful or never heard and when mention how unique i always bring up how its in bible and the bible atlas u can find Lasha

- I do remember that. At the time you were being born your mom said what if it's a girl, well that thought never accurd to me so she open the bible and found your name and they rolled her off to the operating room. Pop facts
