- In 1998 I became pregnant with a baby I didnt care to have, I was in the salvation army program here in fresno, sadly i did try to do everything possible to rid the baby, I hated the fact I was pregnant, well im about 8 months pregnant and had to go to hospital every week for them to monitor the baby cause something wasnt right with the baby and her breathing..well one night outta of the clear blue I got on my news in my apt and prayed...(crying now) I said God it looks like im gonna have to have this baby and you know my heart and how I feel, you know its not my nature to be so hateful about something like this so please Im asking you to help me have a change of heart. At that point I said your will Lord be done not mine, I surrendered my will to God that night. well come the next day I had an appointment and I went and they did the ultrasound and for the first time I looked at the baby monitor and I saw the baby and her heart beating and doctor said looks like is hungry cause she was sucking her thumb and the doctor sais and look her bladder full she has to use bathroom from that moment on I fell in love with her she was beautiful to me and i cried.....she was born on November 24th 1998 2 days before thanksgiving... my water broke 3 am in the morning on the 24th, I called the captain of the salvation army program and my neighbor they took me in to the hospital...I had her four hours later and was painless childbirth... I laugh today everytime cause i remember being on the phone with a friend saying ok i gotta go there telling me to push now,and it was time to push and i couldnt feel a thing so i couldnt tell if i was pushing hard enuff ...lol doctor said i was doing gr8....pulls her out she was born with a full head of hair and doc pics her up by nape of neck and fixes hair like alfalfa from the lil rascals saying its a girl... i said hey dont hold her like that lol she said it aint hurting her.. she was 8 lbs 3 ozs clean bill of health had all fingers all toes and I named her Kala Jonine means black/white pure with time. Her daddy is African/american and she is the most beautiful human being ever created in my eyes... unfortunetly I have given her up for adoption, when my mother became ill I kinda lost it for a bit and wasnt doing so good and when i called someone for help with my girls was turned against me and my daughters were taken from me the day I find out my mother died. Anyways aside all this I feel this is one gr8 testimony to share .. she will be 9 come november... she is my thanksgiving baby

God Answers Prayers
On a Saturday night several weeks ago, this pastor was working late, and decided to call his wife before he left for home. It was about 10:00 PM, but his wife didn't answer the phone.

How are you? I haven't seen you for so long. I often pray for you. I just finished reading the testimony on your page. Are your girls back in your life now? I know God has a specific plan for your life. He will pick up all those broken pieces and create that beautiful something you want your life to be. I know because He did it for me and His healing and restoring love has never failed or been limited. I know you love Him. I pray that you realize how much He loves you and I pray you don't settle for anything less than the abundant life He has for you.
