Major changes in two dark countries: Please pray with me.

The Lord has given me a burden to pray for Pakistan. As a result I have been keeping tabs on the religious and political happenings. At the last count of yesterday's elections the present government has been outvoted. I have to study up on the implications but to wake up to that news along with the news that Castro resigned his rule in Cuba triggered some stirring in my spirit. Also, our President was in Africa pleading with the international community to get involved and help end the travesties in Darfur.
I am waiting to see the out come of these events. I am excited to see changes take place in these dark areas of the world, hopefully changes for good. I have friends in one of the "sensitive areas" who say that the conflicts that look horrifying to us are being used by the Lord to soften the hearts of Muslims to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank God for this but I also lift up to Him the lost and dying souls, suffering human beings who have nothing and noone to turn to.
Pray with me for Pakistan, Darfur, Cuba and Haiti. Many countries are dark but I hear the cries of suffering from these countries when I pray. Please join with me in prayer that the Lord of the harvest will hear the cries of those in these lands and send laborers forth with the Gospel of the Kingdom. Oh to see the blind eyes open, the deaf ears able to hear, deliverance for lands so many generations held in darkest captivity.

Hi Cynthia. Glad you are feeling better. Do you know about John and Jackie who recently moved to Pakistan to work and to minister? They went to chapel in the Pines I believe and we have been praying for them. Ask Don or Paul and Carol Ann. God is definitely moving over there. and yes we need to keep those other places in prayer as well. oreo cookie

Yes I am aware of them though I do not know them. I have kept "my friends" anonomous at their request; also their location. My prayer is for breakthrough, unprecedented breakthrough in these countries.

Their name's are Jon and Jeri. They just wrote thru another person (it is filtered and coded for safety) and they are meeting the president and other important people. Amazing that a humble person like them could do that! God can do anything if you submit your will to His. they just got back into the county as they had to leave when the Buehtto (sp) got bombed. Far too dangerous to stay for a while. They fled to Thailand. Carol Ann

I am glad Jon and Jeri are ok. I have yet to hear more from my other friends. It's it really scary in some of the Muslim countries right now. In rural northern Pakistan an aid agency from Great Britain was raided by gunmen. Four people killed, many others wounded. That was yesterday. The agency has been working there over ten years. The facility was burned to the ground. Anything "western" is at risk in these countries as radicals become more and more hateful. Gross darkness covering the earth: its happening and we really need to know the heart of God as we pray for these countries. Millions need to be saved; the saved need protection.

I had a vision of some stuff last night while praying with another group. They were praying about the muslims and other countries in the middle east and the darkness in them and I saw the Christians as little beacons of lonely lights in vast nations of unbelievers looking upward and outward. Got a terrific urge to pray for them all!

Prayer is what is going to change the situation for these people. Prayer is what moves the mountains of darkness so those who are there can minister. My friends have requested that we pray specifically for their spiritual protection. The warfare is intense.

I will definitely pray for these countries. I would also like updates because I'm currently researching so many other things that I haven't been able to get involved in these issues. I'm glad that you have this burden, talk to me at fellowship when the weather clears up.
